Privacy policy

This policy explains how DAMO LTD, trading as DAMO E-STORE ("we"), uses your personal information when you visit damoestore.co.uk or buy from us. We are the data controller. Contact us at damo.estore@gmail.com.

What we collect

• Order details: your name, email address, phone number, delivery and billing address, and what you bought.
• Payment: card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
• Messages: your name, email and message when you use our contact form.
• Website use: anonymous visit statistics (pages viewed, rough location, device type). These don't use cookies or identify you.

Why we use it

• To take payment, send your order and keep you updated (to perform our contract with you).
• To answer your questions (our legitimate interest in providing customer service).
• To keep accounting and tax records (a legal obligation).

Who we share it with

• Stripe, to process payments.
• Royal Mail, to deliver your order and send tracking updates.
• Web3Forms, which passes contact form messages to our email.
• Cloudflare, which hosts the website and provides visit statistics.

We don't sell your information or use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for 6 years, as required for tax purposes. We keep messages for as long as needed to deal with your question.

Your basket

Your basket and any discount code are saved in your own browser so they're still there if you come back. This is needed for the shop to work and isn't shared with us until you check out.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email damo.estore@gmail.com. If you're unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
